HEYA chicas!! As you may know, for the past week, I’ve been asking for YOUR submissions for my weekly Friday Faves!!  SO here are my some of my Friend’s Friday Faves…

 

1. Tessa from Amazing Asset:

“This picture is me competing in a mud run and it was my favorite race I had ever done! I am running it again this year in 3 weeks and cannot wait Smile“

That is AWESOME!! Seriously, that looks like the most FUN run ever!! Love the action shot!! Can I join ya then Tessa? Winking smile

 

2.  Hollie from Lolz That Swim(and run):

“My Friday favorite is carb loading (for my half marathon) via giant pancakes.”

Oh. My. I WANT that pancake SOOO bad!! I’m not even kidding, you WILL see me making a giant pancake on here at some point, be warned!! Smile with tongue out Oh, and Hollie The Speed Demon is running her half this weekend, so WISH HER LUCK!!

 

3. Lauren from Run Yoga Repeat:

“My Friday favorite last Friday was a long run (11.6 miles!) along a waterfront bikepath. I even stole your idea and wrote a mantra on my hand for it!”IMG_3209IMG_0657

4. Morgan from Endorphaholic:

“My current favorite is oats in a jar. Since I am absolutely obsessed with peanut butter, oats and bananas, I think this is the perfect combo! Plus, I love scraping out the last bits of peanut butter from the jar. Yum!”

Let’s face it, OIAJ is the BEST!! And Morgan you are SO right- you can’t beat that combo, and the scraping’s the best bit!! Open-mouthed smile

 

5. Carrie from Moves’N’ Munchies:

“this may sound lame but my friday fave (is/are?) NUTS! I cannot go a day without them.. they rock my world— and im currently eating some now Open-mouthed smile“Picture 41

6. Hannah from Mind Running Wild:

“One of my favorite things is making homemade waffles!! I also really enjoy play’in with mah food Smile“

HAHA I totally LOVE it!! The waffle looks SO GOOD and no joke I am SO doing that next time with my oatmeal!! Hannah you are HILARIOUS!!

 

7. Hannah from Little College Vegan:

“saving pop-tab tops for Ronald McDonald House charity! I used to never have a way to save soda poptabs because I shy away from all the syrupy products so (shy of a canned V8 here and there) was unable to donate. Thanks to a new affinity for Le Croix sparkling water, I have been saving pop tabs from the cans as well as collecting from family and neighbors. My sorority also collects all around campus (hello beer tab competition in fraternity houses) and we donate to the local Ronald McDonald House.”P4160802

10. Emma from Sweet Tooth Runner

Wait, that’s me…?! Yeaaah sorry guys, I couldn’t just leave it at just nine Friday Faves!! Winking smile MY Friday Fave was the Treadmill of Lies.DSC09328

It tricks me every time. I DID do a 5 mile tempo run, but my average pace was NOT a 4.52 min/mile, trust me! Smile with tongue out As the plan said, 5 mile tempo run, with 3 miles @ 7.12 min/mile pace. FUUUN!!DSC09332

(Hair Turbans are all the rage in London by the way. Kate Middleton was thinking of wearing one to the wedding.)

 

So THANK YOU GUYS so much for being MY Friday Faves today!! Love y’all so much, and THIS was my biggest Friday Fave! Open-mouthed smile

What was YOUR Friday Fave? Another of my Friday Faves was the Royal Wedding! I wasn’t that excited about it before, but I watched it whilst on the treadmill, and there may have been a few tears involved! Smile with tongue out

 

What are you looking forward to this weekend? Church on Sunday! I feel like I really need to reconnect this week, and I can’t wait!!  I also can’t wait for the PANCAKES beforehand!! Open-mouthed smile

 

Random Q: What are your thoughts on comment replies? I asked this on Twitter today, and got some great responses! I didn’t used to respond to them since I knew nobody would be able to see my reply unless they checked back, but now I have a plugin that emails my response…so do YOU like getting emails with blogger’s responses to your comments/questions? I’d love to hear your honest opinions!! Don’t forget you can always Formspring me anything if you want to be anonymous!

    Friday Fav was fro-yo!!! mmm

    I like seeing replies and I reply sometimes on mine but I’ve also been wondering if its worth it since I usually don’t know if someone has replied unless I goo check. and I do like being notified.

      I think fro-yo is possibly the only thing I miss about being a vegan…WHY don’t we get vegan fro-yo here in London?! Madness! :P

      And I know what you mean! Before I got this comment-reply thing I didn’t use to bother much because I knew nobody would check back! Anyway, have a GREAT weekend! :D

    My Friday fave was….. making, no EATING your DCD!! wooo!..made my DAY!!
    This weekend, I’m looking forward to doing a little bit of shoppinggg, i need a good shopping spree :D
    I think it’s nice to get replies, but not always necessary…like if someone asks a question or something it’s good to reply, or if you have the time and wanna just say something back, go for it! no harm! :D

    I’m looking forwar to moving this weekend!! Woop woop!! I get a backyard for my puppers now. So excited to be able to snuggle with my hubby and my puppers at night now!! (She’s lived with my in laws for the past year!)

    The email thing is really good if its only when someone replies to your comment. I ticked it once on a blog and got an email for each of the 40 comments to the post that came after mine!

    My favorite one of those was the pancake!! I used to get so excited for Sunday pancakes, but now that I have my own apartment, I just said “Why not make them every night for dinner?” Haha. Awesome job on the tempo too! Im not a big fan of the royal wedding, but I will be watching the NBA playoffs tonite hoping memphis can beat san antonio. Im excited for my giveaway that ends on Sunday!

    Haha the pancake was hilarious! I also love the mud run pic, I’m thinking about doing one if I don’t make it to states. But I’d rather go to states! I wish I had submitted something but I freaking procrastinate on everything and then forgot! D’oh!
    I’m excited to race tomorrow, go to the movies at night, and the go to hershey park (a CHOCOLATE theme park… yep, you read that right) on Sunday!
    btw I love your comment replies. I wish I had that plugin.

    Great Friday faves! I would love to have a plug in for that on my comments, at the moment I try and respond to each comment but I know that I don’t check back when I leave comments so I doubt many others will unless they’ve asked something specific! Great idea x

    My Friday fave was probably the wedding too: right up until the last minute I was so cyncial about it, but it just sucked me in until I actually got all choked up when I saw them walking down the aisle. Imagine, an old cynic like me ;) I also enjoyed watching all of the frock horrors on show: what did Victoria Beckham look like!? Ahem, sorry, just my inner Glamour-magazine-reading catty woman coming out. I knew she was in there somewhere.

    If writing comment replies doesn’t take up too much of your time or become a pressure/stress then go for it: I think everyone enjoys getting a personal response. The comments I get are always so detailed and thoughtful that I’d probably spend 90% of my life responding to them!

    Ahhh this was fun to read!! I especially love that pancake – It looks like the perfect size for me ;)

    My Friday fave was that it was Friday!! Kind of lame, but it was a tiring week so Friday was much welcomed :D

    I like reading replies to my comments, but I know it takes a lot of time out of your day to do it. So I guess whatever works best for you – I’ll still love you either way :D

    Great job to hannah for finishing ahead of schedule!! I love that feeling when you do better then you were expecting! and HOLLIES PANCAKE…OMG. I want that pancake RIGHT now too! hahaha I am sooo trying to make one that big (perhaps tomorrow!?!) Wish me luck flipping such a beast though!

    PS-I am totally coming to England one day and we are having a massive chocolate/peanut butter/ oats and pancakes FEAST!!! (all washed down with chocolate soymilk and more chocolate!) and then we can go to some crazy party and go on runs and have a BLAST! Oh, if only you lived closer. ;)

      pss-I totally never realized that you can’t see comment replies without a special pluggin…that would explain why nobody has ever responded to my replies! I love getting replies from comments I leave on other blogs, so I definitely think its worthwhile…how do you get a plugin to make it respond via email though!?

        OH YES PLEEEEASE COME TO ENGLAND!!! We would have the BEST time, and we could try the giant pancake thing too!! Good luck with that btw! :P

        Yeah, I didn’t realise that either for ages! Are you self-hosted? To use plug-ins, you have to be self-hosted I’m afraid! But I guess you could always reply by email yourself if you needed to answer a question or something…?

    This is such a cool post! I love hearing about what makes other bloggers feel great because it makes me feel good, too. I’m currently loving black bean brownies and cinnamon apple buckwheat bakes. And of course there are lots, and lots of apples! I like hearing back from bloggers because it shows me that they care about what I’m saying. I especially like when bloggers return the comment loving so you can get to know them better.

    Love the Friday Faves! That is one giant pancake, I must make one before my half in a few weeks. I think it’s great for bloggers to reply to readers’ comments because it shows that they care and read comments. You probably don’t need to comment on every one because some people leave very generic or short comments, or I also like when bloggers just comment on their reader’s blogs.
