HEYA friends!! Aaah missed you guys soooo much!! Being totally without internet for 4 days was WEIRD! (I scheduled my posts to post before I left). I’ll just do a quick (but long!!) post now to catch ya up on the last few days…
A PB apple sandwich and medjool dates. Variety is overrated as I always say!
I played in a few concerts:
Actually, it was because I had spent all my money and this was the only thing I could afford. But it was gooooood!
I also learned some important lessons from this trip….
FINALLY a running magazine that doesn’t talk about weight loss!! WIN!!
New fave bar!! I was slightly put off at first by the green colour(!) but it tastes delish and slightly chocolatey…SO good!! Tons of vitamins, high in protein, and in healthy fats too- win!
You’ll be grateful for it when you get handed breaded cheese at dinner as your ‘vegan’ meal and the breakfast buffet is 90% sliced meat and cheese.
My friend was cracking up as she took this, but soon shut up when she tried it!
…but hitting the local supermarket to get some healthy foods will make sure you still get those nutrients!
Sorry for the longest post ever!! I’m now off to catch-up with fam, avoid unpacking, and start to tackle my mile long to-do list! Just in case you missed it, I had two awesome guest posters (Jen and LB) and you should really check out their great posts and leave them some love!! Are you a last minute packer, or do you pack in advance? I am a last minut-er. I was up at 4.30am packing because I hadn’t done it before! Ooops!
What are you looking forward to this week? I’m looking forward to getting back to eating normally again!! And to my RACE on Sunday!! I’m allowed to run it, but not allowed to push myself and have to ease off at the slightest hint of shin pain. But running is running, and even though I won’t be getting the sub 21 time I was hoping for, I WILL still get a sub 20 5k at some point this year, believe it!!
P.P.S. Your sweet comments on my leaving post made me well up so much!! You guys are the BEST!!
